MILITANT group Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) and its allied groups lambasted the administration of President Benigno Aquino III for making health as his least priority.

Bayan-Negros Oriental chairperson Favian Magallanes expressed apprehensions about the alarming situation of killer diseases like dengue, leptospirosis to include foreign diseases such as Ebola virus, Mers-Cov, among others.

“This only shows that PNoy (Aquino) has no plan to change the rotten system in our government,” Magallanes said. “He continue to advocate the patronage politics by controlling the people’s money for political interest, while leaving us into miserable life. His straight path is inutile and deceptive.”

The decrease appropriation on health services is also part of Aquino’s policy under the Public Private Partnership to transfer the responsibility of government to take care of our public hospitals to the big investors, Magallanes said.

“This is obvious that the real boss of PNoy is not the people who had been wanting a genuine change and wanted to feel the true service from the government,” Magallanes said.

“This is ironic because the Aquino Administration ferociously killing the real purpose of establishing a government,” he added.
