D'Davao Survivors, SOS-Sakya FC axe wins in U-17 league

D'DAVAO Survivors and SOS-Sakya Football Club (FC) clinched their first wins after scoring contrasting wins at the start of the Davao Football Association (DFA)-sanctioned 4th DFA Under-17 Girls League held at the Tionko football field Saturday.

D'Davao Survivors hacked out a 4-3 victory over Faith Academy Inc., behind the efforts of Betsy Jennings who knocked-in two goals, while Allyn Ravanes and Bianca Magpantay added one goal each.

Flora Kim led Faith Academy Inc. with three goals.


SOS-Sakya FC, meanwhile, topped the Philippine College of Technology (PCT)-Medvil FC, 5-2. Moira Calizo led the charge for SOS-Sakya FC with a hat-trick while the 2014 Rio Street Child Worl Cup Golden Boot awardee Agot Danton chipped in two goals. Diana Cosare also scored one goal.

Joyce Semacio, for her part, scored all goals for PCT-Medvil FC.

Lady Knights FC and Aguilas Dabaw FC figured in a draw after a 3-3 score.

The bootfest is sponsored by Arcege and Associates, Perm-Hinex Janitorial and Allied Services and Khanj T-shirt Maker.
