Southpoint-SOS, Ateneo girls draw first blood

THE Southpoint-SOS FC and Ateneo de Davao High School-High School FC drew first blood after routing their respective opponents at the start of the Davao Football Association (DFA) U-14 Girls Tournament 2014 held at the Tionko field over the weekend.

Southpoint-SOS FC extinguished Rizal Memorial College, 8-0.

Addu-HS crushed Philippine College of Technology (PCT)-Medvil, 7-2. AdDU-HS booter Patricia Erika Francisco knocked in four goals in the 13th, 33rd, 42nd and 47th minutes and Althea Kate Villacencio made a hat trick.
PCT-Medvil booter Joyce Semacio scored the two goals for the team.


Francisco and Semacio, who played in Vietnam in the AFC U-14 Football for Girls 2014 last June, are both members of the U-14 national team that placed second over-all in the said tournament. Semacio was hailed most valuable player there.
