Guardians pace Datba bowlfest

TEAM Guardians' Paul Rabe, William Galacio, and Sammy Talaboc struck for a total of 1,243 pinfalls after two games to lead the 9th Davao Tenpin Bowling Association (Datba) Kadayawan National Open Tournament held at the NCCC Mall B3 Center, Wednesday.

Talaboc, for his part, scored 454 pinfalls as teammates Galacio and Rabe garnered 412 and 377 pinfalls, respectively.

Oki Doki's Al Langkuno, Toto Delfin and Billy Magdale (1241) and Datba-Prima's Dianne Galendez, Manny Nierra, and Ray Snyder (1179) grabbed the next two places.


Fighter's Pacquito Santos, Ramsey Tancontian and Rene Zabat (1,159) placed fourth while Romy Serrano, Lito Balunan and Mike Aquiatan totaled 1,140 to place fifth.

Meanwhile, Sammy Tabudlong rolled 1,146 pins besting Sonny Dimaano (1,120), Dianne Galendez (1,072), Langkuno (1,046), William Galacio (1,038), and Pacquito Santos (1,035) paced the individual event.

The event also serves as the 11th League of the National Bowling Tour.
