Titans coach 71st overall

TEAM Titans Davao coach Alexander Sam finished 71st overall in the male 45 to 49 years old category of the Ironman 70.3 Philippines held in Cebu City recently.

Sam, who started the training of the team since January this year, clocked a total of six hours, 49 minutes and 13 seconds. He registered 38 minutes and nine seconds in the 1.9 kilometer swim event then timed 3:08:54 in 90 km bike. Sam, who joined in his fifth Ironman 70.3 race, checked in 2:54:26 in the 21.1K run event.

In his division, Sam placed 17th in swimming, 38th in bike and 71st in run.


Other finishers for MX3-backed Team Titans Davao were Richard Cagape Sr. (113th in male 45-49), Francisco Mijares (94th in male 35-39), John Uyking (293rd spot in male 40-44), Adrian James Pangilinan (21st in male 18-24), Marco Polo Reed Trajera (116th in male 30-34), Hanz Uyking (221st in male 30-34) and Gene Robert Rebote (233rd, male 30-34).
