PUNTA DEL SOL Football Club and Ateneo Mix improved their rankings in the team standings after they demolished their respective opponents in Saturday night's resumption of the She Futsal League at the SM Lanang Premier Parking Lot C.

Punta del Sol FC, blanked the lowly Ateneo A, 33-0, with July Ann Bunac, for her part, netting a personal record of 17 goals while teammates June Mae Bunac, Kristel Dureza, and Sheena Casimiro adding 11, three, and two goals, respectively.

With the win, Punta del Sol FC remained unbeaten in the tournament after two games while Ateneo A streched its losing streak to three games.
In the second game, Ateneo Mix crushed SOS Girls, 5-3.

Despite Ateneo Mix lacking depth in the match due to the absence of teammates, Coreen Ostan and Anna Santos managed to dominate the 40 minute-match by consistently attacking the goal over the SOS Girls.

Santos, for her part, topscored with three goals while Ostan contributed two goals to complete the upset win.

Meanwhile, booters Michelle Danton and Jonina Cosare were the lone scorers for SOS Girls with two and one goal each.

SOS Girls Coach Shelly "Kitoy" Canton, in an interview with Sun.Star Davao after the match, said it was a disappointing loss for the team but on another note a encouraging effort from the girls.

"Sayang wala nila gitake advantage nakulang-kulangang ilang mga players pero okay na sad kay duol lang ang score ug dili tambak bisan absent ang ilahang team captain nasi Diana Cosare (The team didn't grab the opportunity to win against a depleted Ateneo Mix team but I'm still happy for them especially they were not routed despite team captain Diana Cosare was absent)," Coach Canton added.

Ateneo Mix added yet another win to their column thus, improving their position in the standings with four wins and two losses. SOS Girls, on the other hand, dropped to a one win and four losses record.

In other results, University of the Philippines-Mindanao FC crushed Ateneo B, 18-0.

UP-Mindanao FC holds a two win and one loss record while Ateneo B is suffering a five game losing streak.
