Lim will be part of the boys 11 team along with Antoine Boutain of European International School; Leland Caro, Charles Hawak, Raymond de Gracia and John Raphael Pineda of Learning Linkc A.; Matthias Lozano of Maria Montessori; Maria Lazo of De La Salle Zobel; Gabriel Bautista of Chinese International School; Nicholas Semblante of Hawaii-USA and Gabriel Aquilar of Southville International School.

Lim, 11, who guested at the Davao Sports Association (DSA) Forum at NCCC Mall B3 Center on Thursday, said he is happy and proud to solely represent Davao City in the national team.

"Ako lang yung from Davao pero actually marami kami ininvite from Ateneo pero mahihirapan daw sila magcatch-up sa kanilang studies so hindi sila makakapunta sa Europe tour (I'm the only one from Davao but actually other football players from Ateneo were also invited but they said they will be having difficulty in catching up with their studies)," he said.

Lim, a part of the honors class, did advance studies last summer so he can have join Makati FC in the tour. He trained with the Makati FC team last summer after his stint in the Palarong Pambansa in Sta. Cruz, Laguna.

"I will play for the position of center midfielder for Makati FC and I am expected to contribute for its run for a championship or even for the runner-up honors," said Lim who started playing football when he was three.

He is excited about competing abroad for the first time, saying, "Ngayon lang ako makakapag-compete internationally sa football kaya excited ako."
