Admu, HCDC set up final

VISITING Ateneo de Manila University (Admu) and Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) arranged a titular showdown after grabbing the first two spots of the team standings in Friday's resumption of the 1st Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) Women’s Basketball Invitational at the Almendras Gym Davao City Recreation Center.

Admu crushed Addu, 115-35, to post its third straight win in the league organized by the Addu Athletics Department headed by athletics director Noli Ayo.

HCDC, for its part, clobbered Enderun Colleges, 60-46, to improve to a 2-1 mark.


Cellar dwellers Addu, posting a 1-2 card, and 0-3 Enderun, were playing for third place as of presstime. The championship game between Admu and HCDC were set to follow.

Trophies and medals await winners of the Samahang Samahang Basketbolistang Pilipinas (SBP)-sanctioned cagefest supported by the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office (SDD-CMO). (MDC)
