THE Sports Development Division of the City Mayor’s Office (SDD-CMO) cited the unavailability of coaches and other participants for the re-scheduling of some events entered in the ongoing Davao City Summer Sports for Peace Festival.

SDD-CMO spokesperson Charles Raymond Maxey bared this in a phone interview with Sun.Star Davao.

Maxey said, “Gina-plantsa lang gyud namo ang schedule. Dili malikayan nga naay changes along the way (We are finalizing all the schedules. There are just changes along the way.)”

Recently, SDD-CMO announced the postponement of the Davao City Midnight Basketball Cup from May 12 to May 16 and the cancellation of the Enduro Mountain Bike Open Challenge at Barangay Langub in Ma-a.

He also said that they did their part in telling the public about the events of the summer festival saying that they sent letters to all barangay captains, to councilors and other stakeholders of all events. (MDC)
