UN keeps top spot in futsal league

TEAM United Nations (UN) remained in the top spot of the Maharlika Sports Development Institute Inc. organized-Black Mace Security Futsal Summer League 2014 at SM Lanang Premier, Parking C.

Despite losing a game against Boca Seniors-Cellar de Boca, 2-3, UN retained its lead after defeating Ultras Beta 13-2, in the rounds five and six of weekend three to post a total of 12 points with four wins, one loss and 0 draws.

Second on the team standings is Ultras Beta that garnered a total of 11 points (3-w, 2-d, 1-l) after defeating Hooligans, 4-2.


Hooligans and 79ers-Tisay Bakery, meanwhile, took the next two places having shared identical three wins and two losses.

Boca Seniors-Cellar de Boca and Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC), who both tallied two wins, one draw and three losses, shared the fifth and sixth places, respectively while trailing behind were Golden Dragons, Pitbulls and Ultras Alpha.

As of this writing, the fourth weekend games are being played by all competing teams in the futsal league partnered by ASFL, SM Lanang Premier and Sun.Star Davao. (MDC)
