Semacio, Francisco to train in Manila-A A +A

DAVAO City's Under-14 players Joyce Semacio and Patricia Erika Francisco were selected by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) to train in Manila as part of the country's preparations for the the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Festival of Football in Vietnam in June.
Coach Annalou Ingles bared this in a phone conversation with Sun.Star Davao.
Ingles said that Semacio and Francisco were the top qualifiers for Davao region after showing their football skills in the recently concluded three-day U14 girls and U12 boys Regional Festival of Football at Energy Park, Apokon Tagum City.
She said that Semacio and Francisco will have the chance to play for AFC’s U14 Girls 2014 in Vietnam.
“Patricia and Joyce played the same event last year with other Dabawenyas Joannah Marie Adao and Bea Angela De Luna. We are still waiting for PFF’s confirmation sa iba naming players na posibleng mag qualify sa training sa Far Eastern University in Manila on May 10,” she said.
She said that coaches from PFF, Percy Guarin (Center for Football Excellence) and Joyce Landagan (U14 Girls National Team) inspected all the participating players of Davao Del Norte, Agusan Del Sur, Compostela Valley Province and Davao City during the festival.
Davao City U14 girls dominated all three games to blank their rivals Davao Del Norte Football Association (7-0), Agusan Del Sur Football Association (6-0) and Compostela Valley Province (13-0).
