IT'S ALL set for the holding of the Fiesta Run 2014 that will hit the road on May 11 at 4 a.m. from Polyklear Composites to San Isidro Labrador GKK chapel in Maa.
The three-kilometer Fiesta Run is a benefit run for the restoration of the San Isidro Ladrador Chapel.
In a phone interview with Sun.Star Davao, youth member Ken De Leon said that the event was initiated by the youth members of the GKK to help gather funds through a fun run.
“Dako kaayo nga butang sa amoa kung magpa-rehistro sila sa event bisan dili sila mudagan tungod alang gyud ni sa among GKK (It is a huge contribution if a lot will register regardless if they run or not for as long as we could gather funds to help the chapel),” he said.
He said that a total of 300 runners are expected to join the event.
Registration is pegged at P200. The top three finishers will receive P1,000, P600 and P300, respectively.
