A CLEAR Dream Match Tryout is set starting 8 a.m. Saturday at Tionko Football Field to select eight players all over Mindanao to join the three-day camp in Manila on April 25 to 27.

Davao Football Association (DFA) general secretary Erwin Protacio said in an email sent to Sun.Star Davao that the tryout, sanctioned by the Philippine Football Federation through the DFA, will screen some 100 aspiring football players from Mindanao age 17 to 21 years old.

"Among the aspirants, only eight players will have the opportunity to join the camp in Manila along with those selected players from Cebu, Iloilo and Manila. They will be trained by Manchester United Football Club coaches," Protacio said.

He said the selected players will be given the chance to play with UFL standouts and brothers Phil and James Younghusband. (MDC)
