Ateneo wins PCT-Medvil U12 football

THE Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) blanked Black Knights Football Club, 2-0, to emerge champion in the 1st PCT-Medvil U12 9-A-Side Football Festival held recently at the Tionko field.

Naz Pascual netted the goals for Ateneo in the championship game of the one-day tournament organized by the Philippine College of Technology and Medvil Football Club.

Black Knights settled for the second place instead while the Stripling Warriors of Indangan placed third by beating South Point School of Davao, 3-0, via penalty shootout.


Organizer PCT-Medvil coach Ramonito "Lalas" Carreon thanked PCT and Medvil Farms, Inc. and the Davao Football Association (DFA) as well as the participating teams for making the event a success.

A.L. Navarro/Caraga Film - Chi FC, Catalunan Grande Elementary School, Matina Central Elementary School, Mintal Interage FC, Anakk (Guihing) , Hayenas, KHFC of Digos City and FC Black Rose of Malita also joined the tournament that also served as selection for the 18 players who will comprise the Davao City team for the Regional Festival of Football set April 25 to 27 in Tagum City.
