CEO, CTO cop bowling titles

THE City Engineer's Office (CEO) and City Treasurers Office (CTO) bagged the championship titles of the just-concluded Davao City Hall Employees Association (Dachea) Bowling Tournament held at the Mega Dover Lanes.

The Engineers rolled a total of 550 pinfalls, beating City Legal Office (530) for the men's crown. CTO (520) and City Environment and Natural Resources Office (510) placed third and fourth, respectively.

The CTO women, meanwhile, struck for a total of 500 pinfalls to overcome the City Health Office that garnered 480 pinfalls. The City Cooperative (460) and Human Resource Management Office (450) took the next two spots.
Special awards were given to CLO’s Johan Alonzo as men’s highest single (151), highest doubles (291) and highest average score (122). The highest pinning went to M. Dayon of City Admin with 92 pinfalls.


The women’s highest singles and doubles titles were awarded to A. Calatrava of City Civil Registrar’s Office while Mathess Domino (109.5) won the women’s highest average and City Coop’s Helen Quiratman (93) won the highest pinning.

CEO’s Dodong Yrog-Yrog ruled the men’s individual event while Winston Arbilon and Danny Arellano of Cenro wounded up second and third, respectively.

Domino, for her part, topped the women’s individual class over SP’s Jocelyn Cael and HRMO’s Susan Laud.

CLO copped the highest men's and women's team single and men's and women's highest team doubles.

Winners received cash prizes, trophies and medals from the event organized by Dachea in cooperation with the City Sports Development Division-City Mayor’s Office (SDD-CMO).
