Sassy Boys pace SBC tournament

THE Sassy Boys led the Sunday Bowlers Club (SBC) 77th Araw ng Dabaw Open Bowling Tournament that opened Monday night at Fairlanes Bowling Center.

Sassy Boys hit a total of 1,181 pinfalls after two games in the seven-game elimination series that attracted 20 teams.

The D’ Who Car Spa garnered 1,144 pins to grab the second spot while Team Asean rolled 1,135 to place third. In fourth was team Gani 1 (1,124) followed by Jonzlibz/RCSS (1,119) Fairlanes (1,116), Homer (1,114) and D’ Adventurers 1 (1,111) in the next four spots.


Games will resume on March 18 at Fairlanes Bowling Center.

The tournament is organized by the Sunday Bowlers Club as part of the 77th Araw ng Dabaw Sports Festival funded by the city government of Davao through the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office.

The bowlfest serves as SBC's preparations for the 37th Annual Fedbob Bowling Championship set April 28 to May 3 at Dover Mega Lanes. (MDC)
