SBC, meanwhile, elected 14 new set of Board of Directors (BOD) with outgoing president Emie Orteza as an automatic member of the board.

Elected BODs were Jay Libres, Joe Torrez, Liza Berandoy, Bong Villamor, Nonoy Calida, Ely Morsua, Jimmy Sia, Ipet Chua, Boy Aninon, Jet Isturis, Mads Lauro, Boy Aninon and Marlowe Castillo.

Orteza, in an interview with Sun.Star Davao, said they will elect the new set of officers among the 14 BODs. Positions to be contested are president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and auditor.

Schedule for the induction of officers will be set right after the election.

“If we will have a new president, the first project is to conduct a President’s Cup organized by the newly-elected president himself. The cup is a five-man team tournament which is open for everybody,” he said.

He said that some 16 teams are expected to join the President’s Cup.
