THE 3rd DFA U17 Girls League kicks off today (February 1) at the Faith Academy football field.

Tournament chair Rachelle "Ching" delos Reyes said host Faith Academy battles Sakya Football Club (FC) in the 8 a.m. curtain raiser before the ceremonial kick-off set at 9:45 a.m.

Hinex Khanj United collides with Lady Knights FC in another game at 10 a.m.

Delos Reyes, however, said Navarro National High School drawing a bye will have yet to be confirmed pending the participation of other teams.

Games will also be played on Feb. 15, March 1, 8 and 15.

"Final schedule will be given during the opening ceremonies," delos Reyes said.

The annual bootfest, sanctioned by the Davao Football Association (DFA), is sponsored by Taku Football Foundation and Magic Jelly Gulaman Powder. (MLSA)
