6 drug suspects nabbed-A A +A

POLICE arrested six men in buy-bust operations on Friday in Washington Street, Barangay 39-D in Davao City.
Suspects Alfred Garcia Españo, 37, and Charity delos Reyes Jumao-as, 36, both of the same place were arrested after selling drugs to a police officer who posed as a buyer.
The team led by Sr. Insp. Ronald Lao conducted the buy-bust operation around 11 p.m. Friday that resulted in the arrest of Españo and Jumao-as.
Recovered from the two were sachets of suspected shabu worth P7,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and P500 marked money.
In another operation, four suspects in a shabu session were arrested. The suspects were identified as Jeremy Ilog Casupot, 31, a carpenter; Ronaldo Padillo Jumao-as, 45, both residents of Purok 23-B in Barangay 76-A Bucana; Jessie delos Reyes Jumao-as, 35, and Jay Sabanal Escudero, 23, a construction worker, of Bolton Isla.
Recovered from the four were one aluminum foil strip with residue of suspected shabu, two improvised aluminum foil tooter, an empty small elongated sachet with traces of suspected shabu, and disposable lighter.
The suspects are now detained at the San Pedro Police Station and are facing charges for violation of the Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (ICT with reports from Jeepy Compoio)
