5 robbery suspects arrested-A A +A

POLICE arrested five suspects behind theft and robbery incidents in Davao City on Saturday.
First to be arrested was Benjie Azucena Isaac, 20, of Buhangin. He was nabbed after a witness saw him run out from the rented house of the victim Marie Zata Ragunton, 23, a radiologic technologist, who hails from North Cotabato and currently residing in Km. 5 in Buhangin.
Initial investigation conducted by members of the Buhangin Police Station showed the incident took place around 4:30 a.m. while the victim was sleeping inside her room.
According to the victim, when she woke up, she saw the suspect covering his face with a white T-shirt, exiting through a destroyed window.
The victim discovered that her white iPhone 4S worth P20,000, white Samsung E1200 worth P600, and Star Mobile Neptune B505 worth P900 were nowhere to be found. She believed the suspect took them away.
Police arrested Isaac in pursuit operation and were able to recover the stolen items from him. He is now detained at the Buhangin Police Station.
Meanwhile, members of the Sta. Ana Police Station arrested four robbery suspects identified as Rhoy A. Bangonan, 42, and Rey Gonzales Castillo, 33, both laborers and residents of San Jose in Barangay Duterte; Genes Morales Taya, 27, and Jade Banosa Apar, 38, both laborers and residents of Barangay 76-A Bucana.
The four suspects were arrested following the complaint of their colleague Briccio Micabalo Llagas, truck driver of New Davao Goldstar Hardware.
According to Llagas, the suspects took 11 sacks of Holcim cement from their warehouse and sold them to GED Hardware on R. Castillo Street, Davao City.
The suspects are now detained at the Sta. Ana Police Station.
