Police hunt 2 theft suspects

POLICE launched Friday a manhunt operation against two suspects who took P160,000 cash from their colleague at Alta Pension House on J.P. Laurel Street in Davao City.

The suspects were identified as Jestonie Lora Langiman, 24, of Barangay Canaan in Samal, and a certain Samudo, of Agdao in Davao City.

The victim was identified as James Relator Arroyo, 31, a Custom brokerage representative from Manila.


Initial investigation conducted by Police Officer 2 Ritchie Paul Lozano of San Pedro police, showed that the suspects were identified through the closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera of the pension house.

According to the victim, he was sleeping when the incident happened. He said his orange bag containing P160,000 cash, which was placed on his bed, was already missing when he woke up around 8 a.m.

The victim believes that his assistant took the bag.

Personnel of the San Pedro police are now looking into the whereabouts of the suspects.

Also they are preparing the documents for the filing of appropriate charges against the suspects.
