A TOTAL of P600,000 worth of shabu was confiscated in two separate buy-bust operations by the San Pedro Police Precinct, Sunday morning.

Police operatives, however, requested that the names of the suspects be withheld as there are still follow-up operations being done.

The first operation was staged around 7 a.m. in Barnagay 37-D where two big packets weighing a total of 51.36 grams of crystals suspected to be methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) was seized. Street value for such size is around P300,000.

The next operation was at around 10:45 a.m. where a jumbo packet weighing 51.25 grams was again seized for another approximately P300,000 worth.

Also seized from the suspects were three mobile phone units and marked money. (Jeepy P. Compio)
