Farmer falls from cliff, dies

A FARMER was found dead at sitio Tabangawon, Barangay Tambobong, Baguio District Friday morning.

The victim was identified as Elmer Apat Ali, 31, of the same place.

Initial investigation conducted by Senior Police Officer 1 (SPO1) Jevie Calagui of Baguio police showed that at 8 a.m. on April 17, Ali went to the durian farm of Frederick Dahan where he worked as a watchman.


Ali fell into a seven feet high cliff and drowned in the river in the area.

Ali's cousin, Pepeng Dahan saw the victim's body and called the attention of barangay kagawad Cesar Maliano who reported the incident to Baguio police.

The body of the victim was brought to St. Peter Chapel in Calinan. (MDC)
