Thieves nabbed at hospital, sued

POLICE already filed charges against two persons caught stealing from bags inside the Southern Philippines Medical Center last Tuesday around 1:30 p.m.

Charged with theft at the City Prosecutor’s Office are Nimfa Flores dela Calzada, 47, a resident of Purok 5, Barangay 23-C Poblacion, and Jerry Carlos Miniza, 65, a resident of 4-1, Juan Luna Extension, Barangay 26-C Poblacion.

The two were subjected to summary inquest as they were caught red-handed by a hospital guard who attended to the call for help by one Genevieve Siona Lugagay, 45, of Manggahan Street in San Nicolas, Buhangin.


Seized from the suspects was the victim’s wallet with P300 and a receipt. (AD)
