Manhunt on vs 2 in stabbing incidents-A A +A

POLICE launched Friday a manhunt against a man and a woman in separate stabbing incidents in Davao City.
The first incident took place around 8:55 p.m. Thursday at Purok 9, Tigatto in Buhangin, where the victim was identified as Joshua Caharian Pairat, 35, a driver, of San Nicolas in Buhangin. He sustained several stabbed wounds in different parts of his body and one on his head.
Personnel of the Buhangin Police Station are now looking for Eddie Perquez, 44, a resident of Purok 9, Tigatto in Buhangin, who is accused of stabbing Pairat. According to a witness, the victim was intoxicated when he was stabbed by the suspect without any reason.
The second incident happened around 9 p.m. Thursday at Castro Village in Bago Aplaya, where the victim was identified as Christopher Eligenio Candia, 29, a security guard, who hails from Panabo City, and a resident of the village.
Record from the Talomo Police Station showed that the victim was talking to a certain William Traya Cavan, a resident of the area, when a certain Ritchel, 32, ex-girlfriend of Candia, arrived and confronted the latter about his debt.
The victim and the suspect argued which saw Ritchel drawing out a knife and stabbing Candia in the stomach.
The two victims are undergoing medical treatment at the Southern Philippines Medical Center.
