P119,000 lost in robbery incidents-A A +A

SOME P119,000 worth of valuables went missing following two robbery incidents in Davao City last Friday.
The first robbery happened around 12 noon to 6 p.m. at the room of Besma Akmad Adam, 16, a first year college student, renter of Jericos Apartment on General Luna Street in Davao City.
Records from the San Pedro Police Station showed that at 11 a.m. on February 7, the victim left her room to attend class. But when she returned around 8 p.m. she noticed that the door was already opened and her personal belongings were scattered.
It was then she learned that her Samsung laptop worth P40,000; Samsung Galaxy S2 phone worth P28,000; and Longines brand watch worth P20,000, were all missing.
According to the boarder of the next room, she noticed that the room of the victim was opened around 1:20 p.m. before she went out to attend a personal matter.
The said boarder didn’t take into account as she thought that the victim was just cleaning her room.
The second robbery happened around 9 p.m. at the house of Edward Abarca Lamanilao, of Phase 4 Block 9 Lot 8 Ciudad Esperanza Subdivision on Avocado Street in Buhangin.
Records from the Buhangin Police Station showed that upon the arrival of Lamanilao’s children with their helper Jesthony Pequiro Caindot, 18, they discovered that the barbwire fence was already cut and their windows were opened. Robbers took an iPad worth P16,000 and P15,000 in cash.
Personnel of the San Pedro Police Station and Buhangin Police Station are now conducting investigations to identify and locate the whereabouts of the suspects.
