Mechanic shot dead, 2 others hurt-A A +A

A MECHANIC was shot dead while two bystanders were wounded when three armed men fired at them on Saturday along Dacudao Avenue in Barangay Pacioano Bangoy, Agdao District, Davao City.
Killed was Vladimir Sepedida Sequerra, 41, married, and a resident of YCF Village in San Antonio, Agdao.
According to information gathered by Sun.Star Davao Superbalita, the victim was having lunch around 12:45 p.m. at an eatery in the area when the armed men arrived and shot the victim several times, resulting in his death.
The victim succumbed to gunshot wounds on his head and several parts f his body, while two men eating at the same place were also hit.
After the incident, the gunmen boarded their motorcycles and sped off towards Agdao area.
The Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) identified the wounded victims as Jerod Palmera Lemindog, 22, a resident of Purok 25 Peoples Village, Ma-a, who was hit in the leg and knee, and Gabriel Bacalaris Garra, 41, resident of Talisay Times Beach, who was hit in the right shoulder. Both are still undergoing treatment and already out of danger.
The Sta. Ana police is still looking into the victim's background to determine if he was involved in any illegal activities.
The police are also investigating the incidents to identify the attackers and arrest them.
Sequerra is the first to be shot dead in Davao City this year.
