OPERATION Blessing Davao recently held a dinner and fellowship to honor and report to donors the completed and on-going projects for the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda.

Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines Inc., the humanitarian arm of CBN Asia and producer of The 700 Club Asia, was established in 1996 to reach out to the most neglected and disadvantaged people in the Philippines.

The well-meaning group is a non-government organization (NGO), duly-licensed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and accredited by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) as a donee institution.

Because of Operation Blessing’s valuable contributions, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) recognized it twice as the “NGO of the Year for the Peace Efforts” (2002 and 2004) and received distinction as “NGO of the Year” from the Philippine Army (2006 and 2007).

Since its inception, Operation Blessing has inspired change in the lives of more than a million people from all over the Philippines through various programs that empower lives.
