Videos of the week

-A A +A

Wednesday, June 18, 2014

FOR some of you, it is already the second week of classes while others it is the third week already. Hopefully, most of you are still surviving but there are also some of you who are already stressed out. So, I have gathered some videos for you to watch this week.

Kids React episodes on Rotary Phones, Old Computers, and Walkmans from
The Fine Bros channel.

The three videos have accumulated more than 26 million. All three videos are very amusing in a sense that these children, who were born from 2000 onwards, have no idea about old technology. It is funny how the children try to figure out how these old technologies work. You would also be amazed of how the technology developed in the past decades. You might also want to check out: Teens React to 90s Internet (5.16 million views).

Performances at the Tony Awards

The Tony Awards recognizes achievements in the theatre industry every year. Consider it as the Academy, Emmy, or Grammy Awards of theatre. I just started watching the awards show during college and since then I have been addicted to it particularly the performances. So here are some performances I suggest you watch:

"96,000" from In the Heights and "Circle of Life" from The Lion King during the 62nd Tony Awards (2008)

"You Don't Know"/"I Am The One" from Next To Normal during the 63rd Tony Awards (2009)

"Anything Goes" from Anything Goes; "Raise Your Voice" from Sister Act during the 65th Tony Awards (2011)

"Everybody Say Yeah!" from Kinky Boots; "Magic To Do" from Pippin; "It's All Happening" from Bring it On: The Musical; and medley from Motown: The Musical during the 67th Tony Awards (2013)

"I've Decided to Marry You" from A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder;
"Friend Like Me" from Aladdin; "Always Starting Over" from If/Then; and "On My Way" / "Raise Me Up" from Violet during the 68th Tony Awards (2014)
