THE JCI-Greater Davao held its 36th induction of officers and new members at the Apo View Hotel last February 20.

Led by its president Alexander Bernan, the JCI-Greater Davao committed once more to carry on the civic activities and programs it has been carrying on for the past 36 years.

Their guest speaker was Maguindanao Gov. Esmael “Toto” Mangudadatu.

Among the special guests were JCI Senate National Treasurer Hegen Furigay, JCI Senators Elmer Pasion, Gaven Tulio, Aman de Castro, Garven Jeng, and Jojo Cua.

In 1980, under the leadership of LOM President JC Juan “Nonoy” Tingson, Jr., the Greater Davao Jaycees was given the distinctive National Award as the “Outstanding New Chapter” by the Philippine Jaycees. It was also in the same year when it was conferred the award as the “Outstanding New Chapter of the World” during the JCI World Congress held in Osaka, Japan.
