Partnership for youth building

A MEMORANDUM of agreement was signed by Davies Paints Inc. and Habitat for Humanity Philippines to formalize the partnership to repaint the wall fences of Kapitan Tomas Monteverde Sr. Central Elementary School last April 30 at Marco Polo Hotel, Davao City.

Included in the agreement is for Davies Paints Inc. to provide all the paints for the repainting and mural painting activity at the said school on May 19. This activity will engage more than 600 youth volunteers from different colleges and universities in the city.

Davies will also provide paints for the repainting of 3 Day Care Centers in Davao City.


Representing Davies Paints Inc. was Albert Lee Gan, vice president for Sales and Marketing, and Dolly Santos-Serranillo, resource development manager for Habitat for Humanity Phils.

Also present to witness the MOA signing were Melinda Roma, principal of Kapitan Tomas Elementary School, Don ElecciTorno, Arthur Uy, and Gerardo, who are all officers of Rotary Club of South Davao.

Arthur Uy of Rotary Club of South Davao helped in the forging of the partnership. (PR)
