KAPAMILYA actress Ellen Adarna has emphasized on the capability of the latest Gionee phone, the Elife S5.5, to take better ‘selfie’ photos than her old unit.

In an interview with the Davao entertainment press last August 13 at New Asia Restaurant, the 26-year-old Cebuana beauty was so proud in showing off her Gionee Elife S5.5 phone.

“Mas nindot gyud sya’g features kaysa sa akong dating phone (It has better features than my old phone),” she said.

Having examined the features of this phone, Ellen gave her nod to be the endorser of Gionee’s slimmest smartphone, which only has a width of 5.5 millimeters.

Apart from its slim built, GioneeElifeS5.5 also boasts of a sturdier make up of 98 percent metal and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which is said to be three times more durable than other existing smartphones.

Moreover, the phone comes with a 2,300mAH battery, a 1.7GHz octa-core chipset, and 13 megapixels back camera and five megapixels front camera armed with a flash.

“Kining arte kayo ta, mahiligta’g selfie, ganahan kayo ko sa iyang camera especially nga wide angle sya (Since I’m fond of taking ‘selfie’, I really like its camera especially that it’s wide angle),” she said, adding that ‘selfie’ fans will surely enjoy this smartphone because right after a photo or video is taken, one can immediately enhance it through its own image and video editor.

Using Gionee Elife S5.5 camera to capture her images, Ellen said that it has been easier for her to upload and update her social media accounts like Facebook and Twitter.

Dabawenyos who are fond of taking ‘selfie’ shots, like Ellen, can already have the chance to own at least a unit of Gionee Elife S5.5 at any Wiltelcom branch.

Meanwhile, the gorgeous actress revealed that a new show is now in the offing wherein her acting skills will surely be put to test. However, the actress couldn’t divulge any more details about the project yet.

“Basta mas ‘havey’ sya kaysa sa Moon of Desire (It will definitely be a better project than Moon of Desire),” she said.

Moon of Desire is an ABS-CBN afternoon soap with ABS-CBN wherein she co-starred with JC de Vera and Meg Imperial. The said show just ended last August 15.

Aside from the upcoming soap, Ellen is now working on a movie as well with Regal Films, which has a working title of “Maybe This Time”. She will be with Maja Salvador and Dennis Trillo in the said film.

“It’s actually a typical love triangle story. Ako ang asawa dinhi pero in fairness sa akong character dinhi, dili sya away-away. Buotan sya na asawa ug willing sya’ng mag-let go sa lalaki (I’m the real wife in the movie, and I’m a kind wife here who is willing to let go of my husband),” she said.
