Retail group to conduct store ops training here

IN A bid to improve the operations of local establishments in the Davao Region, the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) will be conducting a seminar at The Pinnacle Hotel and Suites in Davao City on March 13.

Tagged as "Store Operations 101: How to Effectively Manage your Store towards Profitability," the one-day seminar is expected to equip the retailers, business owners, operations managers, general managers, assistant store managers, and all those involved in making their retail operations more profitable.

The speaker will be the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM-London) certified leader Francisco “Franz” T. dela Cruz, Jr. Apart from being an ILM-London certified leader, Dela Cruz is also a certified competency developer by the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) of Canada.


DTI-Davao Region officer-in-charge Maria Belenda Q. Ambi said the seminar will cover “the most essential, most practical, and most realistic approaches towards attaining an effective retail store operation in the present time”.

The seminar will have three modules. Module 1 will focus on Key Roles in Store Environment while Module 2 will discuss about Key Activities in Store Operation and Module 3 on Effective Coordination with and Utilization of the Retail Support Group.

A registration fee of P800 shall be collected from each participant to cover the cost of meals. However, those who will be paying on or before March 4 will only pay P750 each.
