THE first phase of Damosa Fairlanes, a seven-hectare high-end real property development project of Damosa Land Inc. (DLI), is now complete and the construction of other housing units is now in full swing.

Alexander G. Gocotano, DLI project development head, said they are expecting the turnover of four units by February 14 and another four by April. Also there are already 16 housing units that are now under construction, four of which are in Phase 1 while two others in Phase 2.

"We are also expecting around 80 units to be constructed by April and May this year. We will begin the construction of 30 houses in April and 50 in May," he said, adding that the construction of the houses will take six to eight months depending on the model of the unit.

Currently, of the 237 units, only 68 are up for sale. Most of the units near the clubhouse and the first phase are already sold out.

In an earlier interview, Gocotano said the land development included the construction of roads, easement, drainage, and amenities like the clubhouse and pool.

Currently, they are working on the subdivision fence wherein only 21 percent is yet to be done.

He said the first phase of the project is now fully energized. However, the water system is not yet ready due to some adjustments.

"If it is delayed and there will be no water system yet by February, the water will be supplied through the water tank to accommodate those who will be living in the subdivision," Gocotano said.

Damosa Fairlanes is a P200-million worth project that had its groundbreaking last April 25, 2012.
