MANILA — Talk ‘n Text seeks solo leadership when it battles Kia Carnival, while Ginebra faces cellar dweller Blackwater Elite in today’s action of the 40th Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Commissioner’s Cup elimination round at the Araneta Coliseum.

A win by the Tropang Texters over Kia Carnival at 4:15 p.m. will enable them to grab solo top spot.

Ginebra, however, aims for its fourth win as it collide with Blackwater at 7 p.m.

Coach Jong Uichico warned his wards of complacency saying Kia Carnival is a dangerous foe citing the latter’s upset win over San Miguel Beermen (88-78) last Feb. 4 and Purefoods Hotshots (95-84) on Feb. 18.

The Tropang Texters’ defense will focus on Kia’s 7’4” center PeterJohn Ramos, who averaged 33.33 points, 19.50 rebounds, two assists and1.7 blockshots a game in at least six matches. He scored 32 points, hauled down 26 rebounds, dished off three assists and two blocks in their 95-84 win against Purefoods.
