THE Accenture Sharks showed they are a title contender after completing a scorching fourth quarter run for a 59-51 come-from-behind win over the Lexmark Stallions in Division 1 of the 2014 CSCC E-Leagues Season 10 at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym last Saturday.

Trailing 45-37 entering the final period, the Sharks outscored Lexmark, 22-6, in the final period for the win. The comeback started with a 15-0 run late in the third.

Former Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers point guard Ildefonso Bulangis Jr. had a breakout offensive game as he led the Sharks with 22 points, eight rebounds, one assist, two steals and three blocks.

Helping Bulangis were former University of Cebu player Archie Batua, who scored 15 points and Saeed Quintao, who had seven points and 15 rebounds. The Sharks improved to 8-1 and moved half a game ahead of the defending champions Aegis Vipers for the lead in Division 1.

Jan Oneil Sahilan had 10 points as Lexmark suffered their third defeat in eight games and slipped to fifth behind SupportSave Dragons, who picked their sixth win over the winless [24]7 Cagers in the other match.

The Teleperformance Kings, on the other hand, dropped the upset axe over the multi-titled Convergys 1 Wolves, 57-56.
