TOP junior badminton players are expected to pour their hearts out in the Sun Cellular-Ming Ramos National Juniors Badminton Tournament, which will be in Cebu on Aug. 29-31 for the Visayas Eliminations at the Racquet Zone Badminton in Banilad.

Following the Luzon Leg held last July 5-13 at the Powersmash Badminton in Makati City, Visayas players will now get their chance to advance to the national finals on Oct. 24 and 25 at the Robinson’s Place in Malate, Manila.

This is also the time for young Cebuano badminton players to shine in national tournament.

However, the organizers have announced that because of proximity to the Visayas Regions, Dipolog City players are allowed to play in the Visayas Leg.

Players are limited to register in a maximum of two events only.

The champions in each category will be flown for free, including free accommodations, to the national finals in Manila.

All registrations will be done online. Interested players must log on to for submission of entries and participation details.

Deadline for registration for the Visayas leg will be today.

Registration fee for the competition is P500 for the first event and P200 for the second event.

The tournament is open to all players in good standing with the Organizing Committee and Philippine Badminton Association (PBA).
