DANCE to help and dance to break a record. These are the primary aims of Zumba Instructors Networks (ZIN) when they gun for a Guinness Book of World record spot with the largest Zumba class in the World on Oct.18 at the North Parking Area, SM Cebu.

Organizers are trying to eclipse the record made by India last 2012 with 6,671 participants in a Zumba class. The staging in Cebu would be three times bigger than the current record, as the organizers expect to draw a minimum of 20,000 people gracing the dance and fitness floor.

While the participants are having fun, it would also be a charitable event since part of the events’ proceeds will go to the World Vision for its “Classroom Rehabilitation Program” for the schools in Northern Cebu, which was hit by the devastating typhoon Yolanda last year.

According to the World Vision representative Pamela Melora that the proceeds of this activity would really help the lives of children, especially in education of the children where their future starts.
