SACRED Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) and the University of the Visayas (UV) renew their rivalry as they face off for the Passerelle division today of the Milo Best tournament.

SHS-AdC and UV fight for the Passerelle title in the Milo Best SBP and Passerelle Twin Tournament at the Capitol Parish Gym at 11:15 a.m.

Before that, last year’s Passerelle champions University of San Carlos (USC) takes on Cebu Eastern College (CEC) for third place honors.

SHS-AdC, the only unbeaten team in the tournament, will have the advantage in size, while UV Green Lancers boasts of their grit and never-say-die attitude.

This championship match is expected to be a nailbiter because the last time both teams faced each other, the Magis Eagles walked away with a close 40-38 victory.

The champion will represent Cebu in the regional finals.

The SBP division will be at the SHS-AdC Gen. Maxilom Avenue Campus gym and will have three games.

Defending champion USC faces University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) in the first game at 8 a.m., followed by UV against Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC), and then SHS-AdC against CEC.

USC and SHS-AdC are both at the top of the SBP division with identical 3-0 records.

UV, USJ-R and CEC are in a three-way tie with 1-2 slates, while DBTC is at the bottom with a 0-3.
