LAST year’s finalists Aegis Vipers and Lexmark Stallions proved too much for their respective opponents, scoring blowout victories in the ongoing CSCC E-Leagues Season 10 at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym last Saturday.

The Vipers, the tournament’s defending champions, bounced back from a loss and scored a 14-point rout over the Convergys 1 Wolves, 52-38, while last year’s runner-up Stallions picked their third straight win, 79-17, over newcomer [24]7 Cagers.

Convergys 1 was within striking distance for the first three quarters before Aegis stepped on its defense in the final period to erase the memory of its 69-45 loss to Accenture Sharks last June 14.

James Navaja topscored with 14 points and Ryan Veloso added 12 as Aegis scored its second win in three games. Admir Batiancila led Convergys 1 scorers with 13 points for
the Wolves’ first loss in three games.

Lexmark meanwhile held [24]7 to just two points in the opening quarter, five on the second, four on the third and six in the fourth on its third victory.

Sylvester Millevo led Lexmark anew as he scored 18 points on top of two rebounds, six assists and six steals, while Michael Avila led the Cagers with five points.
