NEW team Xerox Knights scored a come-from-behind 57-56 win over ASI Hardbacks in their debut in the 2014 CSCC E-Leagues Season 10 at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Xerox’s win was made possible by the Earvin Ferraren, a former member of the University of Southern Philippines Foundaiton (USPF) Panthers. He scored 28 points, including eight rebounds and five assists to help the Knights overcome the first game jitters.

Jason Rosafa added 13 for the Knights, while Martin Ian De Guzman and Sergs Al Go Bui scored 15 points each for the Hardbacks.

Sykes Pioneers, on the other hand, stamped their class over new-comer GGS Information Services Griffins, 84-24, with Ricardo Masiglat Jr. scoring the game-high 13 points for the winning team.

Teleperformance Kings opened the game on a 21-9 blitz and never looked back to post a 78-69 win over Telstra Boomerangs.

Marco Antonio Real had 29 points and Raymond San Juan added 10 for the Kings. Ryan Paul Abordonado made 19 points and Venzi Verallo contributed 15 for Telstra’s second defeat.

The Kyocera Frontiers won by forfeiture over SSI Warriors for violation of section 8 of the rules and regulations which requires teams to have at least eight players wearing uniform on the opening day. SSI only had four during the parade of teams last June 1.
