Rama, Arnuco hold lead in third day of The View

CHANDRAN Rama and Vic Arnuco hold the provisional lead midway through the penultimate day of The View Invitational at Alta Vista Golf and Country Club in Pardo, Cebu City.

Players for the afternoon schedule were still on the course at press time.

Rama and Arnuco combined for 158 points on rounds of 73 and 85 points in this member-guest tournament that uses the Modified Stableford Scoring System.


On their first day, Rama fired five-under-par 41 points and then came up with the same output on his second day. Arnuco had 32 points on the first day but erupted for eight under-par-44 points on the second round.

Running second is the tandem of Lor Alburo and Albert Golez with a total of 150 points on rounds of 75 and 75. Alburo made 36 and 39, while Golez shot 39 and 36.

Charlie Gaite and Alexander Reyes are tied for third with Jude Demiar and Miguel Martinez with 146 points apiece.

Gaite (41-39) and Reyes (36-30) fired rounds of 77 and 69. Demiar (35-36) and Martinez (39-36) had rounds of 74 and 72. (PR)
