Clarabal wins Bogo duathlon

ELMO Clarabal dominated the 33-45 years old category in the 2nd Bogo City Duathlon Trail Challenge yesterday in Nailon, Bogo City.

Clarabal clocked 2 hours 18 minutes and 23 seconds in the 8-kilometer run, 30K bike and 8K run format. Ronilo Banquicio came second in 2:53:05, while Edwin Inot finished third after clocking three hours.

In the 18-32 years old category, Argie Tillor dominated the event and clocked 2:53:10, one hour ahead of other competitors. Jerezel Baguio finished second in 3:53:10, followed by Christian Saladaga in 3:10:46. The top three in the women’s open are Marjorie Jore, Alma Escolar and Cynthia Arnaiz (4:38:11). (RSC)
