AFTER proving its dominance over the Mandaluyong City-based Jose Rizal University (JRU) Heavy Bombers, the Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras will shoot for their second win, this time against the unbeaten University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) Altas in the resumption of the FilOil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup 2014 at The Arena in San Juan.

SWU handed JRU a masterful 72-68 defeat last Wednesday, a repeat of its 69-53 elimination round and a walkout-marred championship game last April in Minglanilla.

Landry Sanjo was the Cobras’ focal point in both offense and defense as the Cameroonian center scored the game-high 23 points on top of 13 rebounds, one assist and three blocks.

SWU’s new recruit, Fil-Am Jay-R Parker, was responsible for giving the Cobras 22 fastbreak points as the California-based point guard scored 12 points, five rebounds and two assists that helped the Cobras sustain the end game rally of the Bombers.
