FORMER world champion Brian Viloria makes his ring return next month, almost a year after losing his twin flyweight world titles in Macau.

The 33-year-old Fil-Hawaiian will be in a 10-round, non-title bout against a yet-to-be-named opponent in one of the main fights on March 29 at the Texas Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Viloria last saw action on April 6 and lost his World Boxing Organization (WBO) and World Boxing Association (WBA) flyweight crowns to Juan Francisco Estrada by split decision at the Cotai Arena in Macau.

Viloria is now campaigning in the super flyweight division and will be gunning for his third division title if given a world title shot soon. The current champions in the super flyweight division are Srisaket Sor Rungvisai of the World Boxing Council (WBC), Daiki Kameda of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and Omar Narvaez of the WBO. The WBA title is currently vacant.

Viloria is 32-4 with 19 knockouts and has held the WBO and WBA flyweight titles, and the WBC and IBF light flyweight crowns. He is currently rated No. 4 in the WBA, No. 9 in the IBF, No. 3 in the WBO and also No. 3 in The Ring ratings as a flyweight.
