MARY Joy Tabal and Kenyan Abraham Missos topped the 25K division of the Cebu Holdings, Inc. (CHI) Fast Forward Faster: The Silver Run yesterday at the Terraces Ayala Center Cebu.

The run was part of CHI’s 25th anniversary and featured the men’s and women’s 5K, 10K and 25K divisions.

Tabal, who is training to represent the country in the Paris Marathon in April clocked 1:41:22:48 and was more than 20 minutes ahead of Christy Sevilleno Tutor (2:11:58) and Leonara Martos (2:21:43).

“My race was awesome, it was part of my preparation. I was so lucky that I was able to register when the organizer decided to reopen the registration because it was timely that my program today was a 25K run. My finish was good as well and I believe I am already recovering,” said Tabal.
