Survivors receive water purifiers

SURVIVORS of typhoon Yolanda from Tacloban, Iloilo, Palo and Tanawan will receive 1,000 water purifiers and 1,000 water storage units from Eureka Forbes Limited and SOS Children Villages. 

According to Praveen Sheen, country head of Forbes Philippines, Eureka Forbes Limited is distributing 1,000 personal purifier bottles. 

“Mr. S.L. Goklaney, chairman of Eureka Forbes Limited, called me to let me know what happened to the victims of the typhoon. We were concerned for the victims. We were really concerned about the victims and we really wanted to help with the water.”


SOS Children Village Talamban will receive 300 water purifiers. Another 300 pieces of water purifiers will be distributed typhoon survivors in Tacloban, Palo and Tanawan.

The personal water purifiers and water storage cost $20,000.
