THE new and much-awaited opening of Rustan’s Supermarket at Ayala Center Cebu expansion wing last Aug. 9 was flocked by the many loyal patrons.

The new Rustan’s Supermarket boasts a 2,800 square meter floor area and is one of the largest stores of the supermarket chain, the same size as the Rustan’s Supermarkets in Manila.

Bright, airy and spacious, Rustan’s Supermarket is designed by the company’s international design artists.

Marketing manager Selina Romualdez said Rustan’s is more than just a supermarket, Rustan’s is a lifestyle and it can be seen in the way they display and sell their products.

Manuel C. Alberto, vice president of Rustan Supercenters Inc., explained that the Filipinos, through the years, have become more sophisticated with their lifestyles and they have taken the challenge to live up to the expectations of Filipino shoppers.

“We need to make shopping pleasurable so we need to innovate and always have to be a step ahead. We believe that the overall shopping experience is important.”

Manuel Alberto said they would be introducing personalized shopping services, taking the urban supermarket to a whole new level and a whole new experience.
