Confidence is not an accident

THERE are children who are shy when meeting people, uptight about speaking in class, afraid about performing on stage and get nervous when facing the crowd. If not worked on, these manifest even in adulthood.

A good way to ensure confidence as an adult is to start them off at Arts Magnate, which is back under a new name—Creative Magnate Institute!

Creative Magnate Institute develops confidence, self-esteem, creativity and strong verbal skills, through the performing arts and highly interactive methods. The child becomes sociable, expressive, alert and self-reliant.

The two-week summer workshop starts on May 12 to 22 at Living Word in IT Park, Sky Rise 1 Bldg. Courses offered are “Speech and Drama” for ages 4 to 13 years old; “Public Speaking and Junior Executive” for ages 13 to 18 years old; and “Leadership with Backbone and Heart”
on May 19 for ages 13 to 18 years old.

The workshops are taught by Padma Mangharam Siap. She has been known for conducting training programs in the Philippines, Asia and the United States, since the 80s. The workshops she delivers are in the areas of leadership, management, customer, service, work values, creativity, stress managment, conflict management, team building, and presentation skills. She is also an expert in child development.

Enrollment is ongoing. You can visit and send a message with your queries and contact information on the Official Creative Magnate Institute Facebook page for more details on the upcoming summer. (PR)
