SHOPPERS will now find a one-stop-shop with government services in one roof as SM City Cebu launches today the Government Services Center. The ceremony will start at 4 p.m.

The center is an expanded service, which started as a consumer welfare desk initiated by the Department of Trade and Industry in partnership with SM Supermalls and other national government agencies since October 2005.

With the increasing need to make the government services accessible to the public, SM Supermalls with the SM Business Services Center continue to work on increased participation by various agencies.

Initial agency partners are Social Security System, Philhealth, Pag-Ibig and PhilPost.

SM Business Center will also operate in the Government Services Center continuing its services, such as bills payment, processing of birth certificates, certificate of no marriage, foreign exchange counter, among others.

The center is located at the second floor between Prime Care and Salon de Rose.
